The Exchange Web Services Interface for RPA provides a range of sample snippets and robots to support reusable and rapid integration into Microsoft Exchange based email platforms through the use of Exchange Web Services (EWS).

Features

The purposes of this asset is to provide a configuration baseline to reduce the effort involved in deploying Exchange based email integration into solution demonstrations and robot deployments. This also serves as an enablement example to illustrate some of the following capabilities

  • Calling and handling web service responses within a Tungsten RPA robot
  • Use of snippets within a robotic workflow
  • How various EWS activities can be performed and included within an wider robotic use case (e.g. monitor folders, ingest mail, mark as read, send mail with/without attachments)

  • Use of global variables within a process
  • Decisions to support process logic and aid debugging (e.g. switch to disable live email integration)

  • Writing to the message log to provide audit trails and process based information
