BECONEX Validation Controller for Tungsten ControlSuite

The BECONEX Validation Controller allows you to automate, manage, and trace critical procedures to ensure the quality of scanned documents.

• Automatic selection of documents: the items to be visually inspected can be selected sequentially or in random order, at document- or batch-level, and in different percentages depending on the document type (e.g. only 10% of delivery notes but 50% of contracts).
• Criteria for the visual inspection: configure one or more criteria per document type, such as the optical quality, completeness, pagination, signatures, etc.
• Correction of values: collect optional values via manual input or automatic extraction (barcodes, OCR, etc.), include them as inspection criteria, and correct them if needed using the BECONEX WebReview application.
• Automatic notifications: send automatic email notifications to the reviewer about pending reviews and their specifications, and to the user that scanned the documents on how to proceed depending on the results of the selection and inspection (e.g. preserve, rescan, or release).
• Management of rejected documents: rescan-tasks for each document that fails the visual inspection are created automatically, as many times as needed, until the digitized document is approved by the reviewer.
• Customized events: you can also trigger processing steps other than rescan (e.g., declare document invalid, notify other department of pending tasks, etc.) directly from the BECONEX WebReview application.
• End-to-end logging: the scanning, inspection, and approval of documents is logged end-to-end in Microsoft SQL, to enhance the overall traceability and security of the process.

To perform the inspection, the reviewer can visualize the document as pdf file using the Tungsten Power PDF solution or the BECONEX WebReview.

This solution contributes to the efficiency and security of document inspection and validation, by automating the selection of documents, notifying both user and reviewer about the requirements and results of the inspection, triggering rescan-tasks and customized events, and logging the entire process.
