Tungsten Advanced Rules Management Framework

The ARM Framework is built on TotalAgility. The Framework allows organizations to create cross-document validation rules through business friendly and easy-to-use, graphical user interfaces. Rules can be grouped into rule sets that can be used in various TotalAgility processes and solutions.

The Rule Check UI makes rule reviews and exception handling easy, by displaying the associated documents side-by-side with the conditions checked. Data fields used in conditions are highlighted on the document image for quick location of data. Rule results can be overridden / accepted to proceed with a transaction, while notes for the override activity are kept for audit logs and reporting purposes.

Defining and managing the cross-document validation rules is completed through the Rules Editor, an intuitive, visual administrative user interface that comes with the ARM Framework. Multiple TotalAgility extraction groups can be leveraged in the rule definitions. Rules can be defined with an extensive list of operators, pre-built formatters and functions. Conditions within a rule can be set up in conjunction or disjunction.

The ARM Framework can be set up as a fully automated process, delivering rule results for downstream processes, or exception handling steps with user involvement can be enabled to review the rule results and handle any exceptions needed to continue processing.
