ReadSoft Invoices RemoteScan Package Overview
The RemoteScan Package allows for local high-speed scans and transfers the data to the remote system including some metadata added during the scan process in the background while the scanning process happens at high speed, storing everything in a local path temporarily.
This avoids issues that direct scan has such as network latency and access issues (for example, VPN access).
Features
Images and data can be transferred using many methods.
- FTP, Secure FTP.
- WEBDAV (RS File Import / RS File Export).
- SMB (RS File Import / RS File Export, Remote Scan).
- Send images to more than one location (RS File Import / RS File Export, Remote Scan).
- Image conversion to PDF.
- Destination path, image filename and data filename can be determined based on the data being sent to the remote location.
- Data is either exported as a plain text file, or as an XML (including variants based on XSLT transformations).
