ReadSoft Invoices Business Rules Engine (BRE)

The Business Rules Engine component provides many advanced functions to assist with validating, populating and manipulating the data in a document.  Some of the key features of the Business Rules Engine are the following:

• Perform validations over every field in a document at specific moments in the process, as well as for specific suppliers and can occur before or after other plugins.
• The ability to perform simple validations and populations by means of a database lookup.
• Fields can be populated and validated based on other fields.
• Checks for duplicate invoices in a database, the Invoices process log or SAP.
• Allows the rejection of documents and optionally, send out notification emails.
• Custom notifications can be sent by email when something happens to a document, for example, when a document has been received by the system.
