Features
The Payslip Solution Framework is powered by the Tungsten Intelligent Automation software platform and is built on TotalAgility. It applies TotalAgility cognitive capture capabilities and artificial intelligence (AI) to extract, classify and interpret data, to transform manual or disconnected payslip data entry and validation processes. The framework can be easily embedded into existing TotalAgility deployments which allows also for a customized look & feel.
Payslips may be ingested through any standard TotalAgility ingestion method such as APIs and connectors and turned into electronic data that is validated through pre-established rules set up through the framework. Pre-built classification techniques verify that the ingested documents are in fact payslips. Data is extracted using pre-defined procedures, with additional configuration options to intelligently capture data from a wide variation of payslips.
Pre-trained payslips further expedite automation in classification and extraction routines. Specified data validations provide more accurate data. Any data that did not meet the validation requirements is routed to the designated user for manual confirmation or correction. Validated data are then exported into JSON and can be leveraged by other systems and/or solutions as needed.

Where advanced business rules and / or cross-document payslip validation activities are required, Tungsten offers another dedicated framework which is often used by customers to enhance their Payslip Solution Framework. The Tungsten Advanced Rules Management (ARM) Framework in addition, for running cross-document validation or advanced business validation rules, e.g., against backend data, across multiple payslips or to compare payslip data against other document types like bank statements.
Combining the ARM Framework with the PaySlip Solution Framework takes payslip processing seamlessly to the next level and allows business rules to run before leveraging data in subsequent processes and as such allows for increased business agility and reduced end-to-end processing time.
